Dana Point Pipe Relining
We’ll start by inserting a small camera into your pipes to find the source of the issue. If your pipe is a good candidate for relining, we’ll get your plumbing ready for the process. Otherwise, we’ll talk about other solutions, such as pipe replacement.
Pipe relining comes with these benefits:
- Noninvasive
- Improved water quality
- Fewer leaks
- Long-lasting durability
- Reduced downtime
- Cost-effective
Before relining, we’ll blast pressurized water through your pipes to clear blockages and remove buildup. This creates a clean, flat service for the new lining. Next, we’ll measure your pipes and soak a tube in epoxy resin.
We’ll insert the tube into your pipes, then inflate the tube with a bladder to press the lining against the plumbing walls. The resin cures and hardens to create a new pipe inside of your plumbing. Finally, we’ll remove the bladder and inspect your pipes to ensure that the lining creates a tight seal.
Pipe relining services are completely noninvasive. Instead of digging a trench in your yard, we’ll treat your pipes from a single access point. This protects your landscape and reduces the length of your appointment.
After relining, you’ll enjoy fresh, clean water with a steady flow. The liner protects your water from rust, debris, and contaminants, seals off leaks, and reduces the risk of cracks. However, you’ll still need to care for your pipes by hiring Bill Metzger Plumbing for maintenance. You’ll also want to make sure you’re flushing nothing but toilet paper.
Relining is a permanent solution that’s not suitable for old, brittle, or severely damaged pipes. While relining seals off leaks, it doesn’t repair severe damage, cracks, or corrosion. Likewise, some pipes are too narrow for relining.
